Adventures in High Fantasy

IN DEVELOPMENT

High Fantasy is coming to the browser, preserving its classic role-playing mechanics while bringing its world to life through detailed artwork and interactive storytelling. Explore Moorguard, customize your character’s appearance and equipment, and make decisions through conversation, exploration, combat, and magic. Percentile dice determine outcomes, just as in the original game. These screenshots offer a first look at development in progress.

The High Fantasy Rules, Brought Online

We’re recreating the mechanics of High Fantasy for browser play—from character creation and equipment to combat and spellcasting. The interactive character sheet brings together abilities, talents, skill progression, and discoveries. Players can choose different appearances for the same character, as demonstrated throughout these previews.

Classic Role-Playing, Driven by Dice

We’re preserving the original High Fantasy style of play: your decisions shape the adventure, and percentile dice determine outcomes—not joystick reflexes. Combat and magic unfold through character abilities, tactical choices, and the uncertainty of the roll. This sequence illustrates a wizard’s spell attempt, from checking its chance of success to casting and applying damage.

1. Choose Your Action

The adventurers take their positions in the forge, with actions resolved through the game’s turn sequence.
